☆江戸時代からの美容法：KAOSORI

江戸時代の美人の第一条件は、肌が白いこと。遊郭の女性や芸者だけでなく、一般女性も白肌に近づくために白粉（おしろい）を使い、お化粧にはげんでました。この白粉（おしろい）のノリをよくするために顔や襟足の産毛を剃っていたといいます。さらに、産毛がなくなることで化粧水の吸収率もアップ！当時はつみとった野ばらを蒸留し、化粧水として使っていたそうです。天然のローズウォーターですね。

The first requirement for beauty in the Edo period was fair skin. Not only prostitutes and geisha, but also ordinary women used oshiroi (white face powder) to achieve white skin.
